Selena Gomez is an internationally famous actress and singer. Disney's Wizards of Waverly Place, one of the most prestigious projects she was a part of and which has had the highest successes, is her own project. Selena Marie Gomez is her full name. Born on the 22nd of July 1992, located in Grand Prairie Texas. Amanda Cornett and Ricardo Gomez were the parents of Selena. She was just 16 at the time Selena arrived. Her first professional acting job as a showbiz actress at the age of 9 in the role of Gianna in Barney and her Friends. She was among numerous children who played alongside Barney, the well-known anthropomorphic pink dinosaur. Selena performed for many seasons, including season 7 and 8 between 2001 through 2003. Selena wasn't the only performer who appeared in Barney as well as His Friends during that time. Demi Loveto also worked with the show. Selena Gomez left the show and was auditioned for a variety of other shows and films, but did not have much success. After the departure of the show Selena auditioned for several roles in other programs and films but was not very successful. In 2006, she was also given the part as Emily Grace Garcia for the Brain Zapped show. She composed a song.
